Nah, I'm just kiddin'. As I'm sure you were already able to deduce, I failed to stick to the update goal I set last Thursday D: I apologize for making empty promises. But attempt to make up for it by drawing individual leaves again (MIA since page 23, I believe)! Well, HELLO THERE, Background Quality!

This page was a bit of an experiment, and my computer fought me every pixel along the way; it overheated, it shut itself off for no reason, it ran Norton Full Scans at inopportune moments, you know, the usual. Every other page I start at a resolution of 300dpi, at which size I both sketch and do the final lineart. Then I resize to 150 to color, since my laptop is 6 years old and bogged down with a dynasty of Sims2 generations. What I'm trying to say is, it's slow. And this time around I did everything at 300dpi (I figure that's a good habit to have, if I ever try professional printing!). It got to the point where I would draw something in, and wait out five seconds of lag to make sure it came out looking alright.

Oh no, five whole seconds! But it adds up! It usually takes me about 6-8 hours from start to finish to complete a page; this one probably took around 13 .v. But I got to do Amschel's eyes in more detail than usual (lost when I resized of course, haha), which was fun! Fun fact: I love coloring eyes in detail. Leaves? NOT SO MUCH. But we're almost done with the orchard scene, so I am gleefully planning the rest of the plot around never drawing a tree in this series again 8D That is a bold-faced lie. /weeps

I'm glad (most of) you guys like the April Fool's painting last week (I hope)! Haha. It's pretty ridiculous :3 See you all next week, with another installment of "Half-Assed Explanations of Temporal-Paradoxes!" For realz this time. FOR REALZ.

	( Reply ) I see...I see LEAVES. 8D Lordy Lou, would HATE drawing that many leaves. If I could draw. Sigh... Have I voiced how much I love this comic? Well, I do. I could wax lyrical about this comic (and your delectable writing style in your author comments) for...well, a long time. Anyway, I just visited your blog. The detail that you put into making this comic, and everything else, is astounding and awe-inspiring. Thank you!! ...Ahem. Sorry for that tirade.
